Booking & invitation terms
Plain-language summary. Final conditions for deposits, cancellations, and hall use are set by each Gurdwara.
Your booking
When you complete the public flow, you enter into arrangements with the selected Gurdwara for use of their hall and services. SEVA provides the software; hall rules, pricing, and cancellation policies are those of the Gurdwara.
Payments & holds
Some bookings are held pending deposit or full payment. If payment is not completed in time, the hold may be released and the slot offered to others, as configured by that Gurdwara.
Invitation & contact consent
On the invitation step you may be asked to confirm that SEVA and the host Gurdwara may use your email and phone you supplied to send operational messages (confirmations, reminders, invitation links, RSVPs). This is not permission to upload your phone’s contact list. You can withdraw optional outreach consent by contacting the Gurdwara; core booking emails may still be needed to fulfil your reservation.
Donations into a Path
If the family has allowed public donations, gifts are subject to the Gurdwara’s processes and any Gift Aid rules they apply.
